Dr. Clifford aims to help youth and their families find strength and develop the skills needed to cope with life’s challenges. She takes a problem solving and values based approach to help her clients identify and reach their goals. Dr. Clifford obtained her BA from the University of Rochester and her PsyD from La Salle University. She completed her pre-doctoral training in a variety of settings including a private college preparatory school, a children’s hospital, private practice, and a community mental health clinic. Her internship was at a residential treatment center for adolescents where she provided evidence-based treatment, crisis intervention, and conducted diagnostic court evaluations. Throughout her training, Dr. Clifford has focused on delivering evidenced based therapies, specifically concentrating on cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques. Dr. Clifford has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who suffer with anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, chronic health conditions, as well as trauma and stress related disorders.
